Company History
Geoffrey Williams came into the gemtrade in the early 1960's as a salesman for a local gemdealing company. At that time there was huge growth in jewellery manufacturing; automation and precision production techniques and consistent qualities were required to supply in suffieient quantity for growing demands of the large retail groups and mail order companies. A number of German gemcutting companies were developing the machine cutting of gemstones; the precision of this technique gave Geoffrey the opportunity to supply this new growth and the company grew from strength to strength. G.F.Williams is a second generation family business trading for nearly 40 years. A dedicated gemstone wholesaler suppling loose coloured gemstones, diamonds and pearls to clients all over the world; from major jewellery manufacturers, through to collectors and students just starting off.
The company has developed an international client base through the its expertise, open trading policies, and long term personal relationships.
Markets include Asia: Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Japan. Europe: Ireland, Spain, Cyprus, Malta, Portugal and France.
Due to the scale of our buying we are able to offer our trade clients a reliable source of products from stock giving them the confidence to focus on the predominant issues their attention should be directed upon.
